10 metre air pistol technique

Post by Spiny Norman » Wed Feb 15, 2017 10:17 am

I have recently taken this up and would be interested in your thoughts on posture and technique.

I've been advised that the feet should be placed roughly shoulder width, with the right leg forward. With some experimentation I've been finding that having more weight on the back leg feels more stable.

As for the right hand I've been advised to use a loose grip, and to work the trigger with the top pad of the first finger ( though still getting used to a Gamo Compact trigger! ).

Thoughts?

Try again as it's certainly online now.
