Re: Target Recoiling Springer
Only just picked up this thread sorry I am a bit late in adding to the thread, but have to agree with zooma, you could try looking at the Original Mod 5 pistol which is the recoiling version of the Mod 6 [same grip variants]. Whilst it only has a pointed front sight blade you can soft solder a mall s...

Re: Relum Hurricane
pmh, hi from bellringer. I have a Relum Pistol that I am currently servicing for a friend. I have found almost no info on it other than what is on my thread on the forum. I have several questions that can only be solved by direct comparison with another pistol, so can you contact me via direct e mai...

Re: Diana Model IV
zooma hi, from bellringer. Regarding your Diana Mod 4. Being the "saddo" that I am, in my collection of paperwork I have a mint copy of the "G4" parts manual [as Millard Bros called i]t and I also have a dealers catalogue from mid 70's which shows the Mod 4 on a couple of pages. I will be happy to s...

Re: Relum Pistol Help!
zunmik hi. I tried Protek but they have no info or parts, but well worth the try. I have had to design a pair of main springs from scratch and with the help of a local suppliers design program I will have some in the new year; as for photos the gun is in bits at the moment so that is not an option u...

Re: Webley Fans
Having followed the latter end of this sale , you can't help but accept that with such a rare item comes such a high price. Another webley raretey is the table lamp; this was a cylinder shade lamp with a woodland/water scene on it and there was a heat activated sleeve that caused a rotating action w...

Re: Original Model 75 HV.
Swings and roundabouts on this one; some guns can be stored for years without a problem if you suddenly decide to fire them. The original range is well known for its factory seals disintegrating over time even if used, and the popular 3-in-one oil will actually melt them. However the newer 'blue' se...

Re: FWB 300/300S fans, here is an odd observation.....
Well spotted; I have also worked on lots of 300 series rifles and even had to buy replacement ratchet bars, as you say the part number is always the same as is the compression chamber but I was asked for serial numbers each time, so maybe as has been suggested there was a mod to beef the part up and...

Re: Air Pistols from Around the World
pmh, are you thinking ""allcomers" - all countries, and producing a general list regardless of age and quality; I know lots of people look down on pop-outs and tin plates so are we restricting things or "listing the whole caboodle"? for me a list is a list, but a guideline may be usefull. bellringer

Re: A Webley Mk III gets a bit of TLC.
Hi, nice rifle, if you PM me the serial No. & calibre I may be able to date the gun to the ''official'' date of production and possibly even who made it; .22 cal with 'A' prefix is the worst scenario because Webley used the 'A' prefix twice and .22 was much more common than .177 or variants, I can o...

Nice to see W & S get their own section . I think many of the ''knock Webley'' brigade lose the point, Webley never set out to my knowledge to make ''classic'' air guns; I think this accolade has been accrued; by people, who over the years have owned and enjoyed shooting with the marque in general. ...

Relum Pistol Help!
I have just taken on the job of restoring one very rare pistol ie. a Relum air pistol circa 1957/1959. Several things have me puzzled. Firstly the [two] mainsprings are totally 'shot' they didn't even put any pressure on the end cap during its removal, so anyone got any idea as to length of the main...
