Re: Final Round
This now gives Ian and all the other competitors a National Ranking so Ian will now be known a "1IJ" and not just as simple "IJ". All my school teachers knew me a 'simple I.J.' Sorry, I wont be there on the 2nd Bob. I will be trying out my Dyson ball cleaner. They do need a clea...

Re: Let's Build an Airgun
It would be a remarkable achievement to produce a budget priced spring powered air pistol that could be used competitively in the MPL series both at 10 metres and 6 yards. This would be so "right" as the MPL series was designed to encourage people to take part in an affordable competition where weal...

Re: Refinishing a Stock - 2 - Applying the Oil
Following Graham's advice I have now refinished a few more stocks that have all come up well using his techniques and can confirm that the finish achieved is directly equal to the effort put in and that it works very well indeed. It is also possible to "sympathetically" restore a stock so any intere...

Re: Diana Model IV
Hi Baz,
I do not have a Model 1 in my collection - I have never been that fortunate to find one for sale!
That is a lovely old air pistol and you are the current custodian of it so it is in safe hands.

Re: Target Recoiling Springer
Your HW 45 is called "Helgar" ? :snooty: "Helga the Smoking Hunny" has a certain ring to it I suppose  I don't really give guns a name. But I thought Helga had a nice beefy Teutonic ring to it. I agree - Helga sounds like a very appropriate name so stick with it ! Merry Christmas ...

Diana Model IV
I picked up a Diana Model IV to add to my collection of Diana/Original pistols. It is in a nice condition and cost me £45 (including postage) and I am quite pleased with it. The Model IV is a strange over-lever pistol that does not seem to have too much power but that may just be due to it needing a...

Re: TAU 7 MATCH.
One of my Tau 7 Match pistols has been sold to another local shooter in the Rivvy Club as I know he really wanted it and I also know he will take good care of it and enjoy using it. Much better than just keeping it locked away when I have another that I can use whenever I fancy a Tau Fix! This means...

Re: TAU 7 MATCH.
Nice looking standard Tau 7 but it looks like it has been sold.
They are really accurate pistols and well worth the price this one has sold for.

Re: FAS604 Rear Sight
Thanks Graham! We will have a brew when you come over and maybe you could let me know how you indexed the Taig tailstock chuck as that looks like a nice little technique to "keep in the locker" for future reference. I will probably make a start on getting some 6 yard targets stamped-up and counted i...

2014 6 yard MPL Postal Competition.
Merry Christmas everybody and Good Shooting for 2014. The 2014 6 yard MPL Postal Series will commence again in January so we can keep this excellent 6 yard postal event alive, so we really need to receive the 2014 the entries and to start work getting a large stack of targets stamped-up and ready to...
