Re: Christmas 2016
Yes, a happy Christmas, and a prosperous New Year to all.
I haven't shot much this year, not really been in the mood after a long day at work.
Kind regards,
Phil

Nice to see a traditional fair activity.
In today's knee jerk, over the top society, I'm surprised the area wasn't evacuated while the helicopter filmed the stall holder being dragged away by the armed thought police.

Peter 'Witzend'
I have just learned the very sad news that Peter 'Witzebd' has passed away. There are a number of threads on the UBC forum, which I think are a fitting tribute to a thoroughly decent chap:- http://umarexboysclubforum.myfineforum.org/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=22212&hilit=Witzend" onclick="window.open(this....

Re: FWB80 trigger
Dear Mike, It should, from what I remember, have a 2 stage trigger. A copy of the 65/80 manual can be found here, with section 2 describing how to adjust the trigger:- https://www.feinwerkbau.de/ceasy/modules/core/resources/main.php5?id=360-0" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Kind regar...

Re: Early Air Rifle Shot, Slugs & Darts
Dear Bruce, You may be interested to know that CO2 airguns could only be held on a firearms certificate, the same requirement as full bore guns! It was only after the 1997 changes that they were off licence. As such, there will be little to no reference to CO2 on earlier English airgun ammunition co...

Re: This Crosman 137 was just moments away from the dumpster
I would certainly class the Hurricane as a classic. I always wanted one,as it was on the cover of the first ever airgun magazine I bought, back in the 1970s. I have come across several boxed examples, including the scope adaptor, etc, but they have either been in .22 (I prefer pistols to be .177) or...

Re: best way to store spring air pistol
I should read before posting, as my predictive text seems to swap my words for its own random choices.
Bins = guns. Original post has now been corrected.
Silicone isn't a lubricant, and can force out oil from where it should be. Mating metal surfaces should be lightly oiled.

Re: best way to store spring air pistol
There is a position, with most break barrels, where you can open the beach without actually cocking the gun and there is no reason why you can't do this. I always give my guns a wipe down with a silicone cloth when I've used them. You do have to ensure that silicone does not get onto bearing surface...
