Re: A few Photographs of my Air Pistol Collection

I realise this post is over a year old but I just thought I would say what a beautiful collection. Thank you for posting these pictures up, fantastic old pistols.

Re: CO2 target pistol for the wife

Unfortunately I sold all my PCP bottles last year so would be an expensive option due to extras needed. apart from which, I don't want to get her something too nice!!

Re: Benchrest season 2.

Now that I am able to get some shooting done again, I definitely want to submit a score in the near future. I am very glad to see the comp still running. :)

CO2 target pistol for the wife

Firstly, it's good to be back! Been a pretty mad year but things getting a bit more normal now means I can get some shooting done again. I did hear that actually, also the cover for the trigger mechanism used to be transparent so you could see the workings actually working before disassembly. Now comes with an opaque cover so you can't see 'owt! Still love it though. Mine's had all the stippling removed and sports finger grooves that...

They do seem very well engineered but for me, the Gamo was a ...

Terribly sad news, if it's any comfort, there are plenty of people all round the country who have you in their thoughts and will be right here when you feel like popping in.

Diana SP50 given as a gift from a friend of my parents. Countless thousands of pellets went through that gun with not a jot of maintenance.

There is an Original 66 on Gun Star at the moment for £99. I would imagine that it isn't exactly pristine or just serviced but it is the cheapest I have seen.

Been snowing here for two days solid but slushy kind of snow that turns to ice overnight. Did manage to take the little one sledging yesterday though!

I would imagine the quieter members are just biding their time before joining in. It's great to see the membership numbers rising, lets hope they fancy a go at the rested competition.  :)
